Though the game mechanics and scoring systems of Indian Rummy & Gin Rummy are similar, they differ significantly. A further level of strategy is added to the game when jokers are used as wild cards, as irummyleadern Indian Rummy, to help players complete sets and runs. There are more Rummy Game Gold variations, such as Canasta, Kalooki, and Oklahoma Gin, each with its own distinct rules & gameplay elements. For instance, in the card game Canasta, two decks are used, and the object of the game is to form melds of seven cards of the same rank; in the card game Kalooki, wild cards are used to complete sets & runs.
