The most widely played variations are Kalooki, Indiadda rummyan Rummy, and Gin Rummy. With a focus on rapidly forming sets & sequences, Gin Rummy is a two-player game in which players try to "knock" when they think their opponent has a higher total value of unmelded cards than they do. On the other hand, players in Indian Rummy must form at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence (without jokers).
