Rummy is typically played with two or more players, and depending on the number of players, one or more decks of cards are used. The goal is to use card drawing and discarding to create legitimate seteen patti onets & sequences. While a sequence consists of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, a set consists of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. Each player takes turns selecting a card from the discard pile or the stockpile, after which they discard one card from their hand. Until a player successfully merges every card into a valid set or sequence, the game is over.
