The Grinder just won't die. Michael Mizrachi hit a pivotal river card while all in at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event final table to keep the seven-time bracelet winner's world championship dreams alive.

Mizrachi, who won his fourth Poker Players Championship title earlier this summer, had a similar run of cards on Day 8 as he staged a massive comeback propelled by two runner-runner flushes.

Mizrachi finished fifth in the 2010 WSOP Main Event and is poised to improve on that result, sitting as the chip leader with seven players remaining.

The 25th hand of the final table, captured by PokerNewsaward-nominated live reporter David Salituro, saw Braxton Dunaway raise to 4,000,000 in the cutoff on Level 40 with blinds of 1,000,000/2,000,000/2,000,000.

John Wasnock, who earlier flopped a set to eliminate Daehyung Lee, then three-bet to 10,000,000 on the button as Michael Mizrachi four-bet to 30,000,000 in the small blind. Dunaway got out of the way as Wasnock five-bet jammed and Mizrachi quickly called off with a stack of 71,700,000.

Mizrachi was in trouble and didn't get much help from the J97flop. But The Grinder hadn't had trouble going runner-runner up to this point and picked up Broadway outs on the Qturn. However, it was the Ariver that gave Mizrachi the winner as the Horsehoe Event Center went crazy with chants of "Grinder! Grinder! Grinder!"

According to PokerGO, Mizrachi only had three outs as three tens and an ace were folded preflop.

Family Support at Final Table

The hot start didn't come as a surprise to Mizrachi, who told PokerNewshe was "feeling better than ever" ahead of the final table.

"Had a great dinner last night, good breakfast this morning," Mizrachi said. "A lot of friends and family came in town so I'm feeling great ... I've got my twin brother here, I've got a bunch of family. My mother and father here. And I've got a lot of really close friends that came in."

The Grinder's rail does not include recent Wynn tournament winner Michael Mizrahi, who is not a member of the family despite the similar name and poker passion.

PREVIOUS:Every player plays differently; some may be aggressive in forming melds quickly, while others may take a more cautious approach by keeping high-point cards for longer. By keeping an eye on these patterns, you can adjust your approach appropriately. An opponent may be about to go out but is attempting to reduce their risk if, for example, you observe that they usually discard low-point cards while keeping high-point ones. It may be advantageous in these situations to play defensively, discarding cards that don't support their possible melds while concentrating on swiftly finishing your own sets and runs. Also, bluffing can be a useful strategy; by discarding cards that indicate you are aiming for a particular meld while covertly pursuing another plan, you can trick opponents into making bad choices. Being successful in Rummy Noble 777 requires more than just good fortune; it also requires knowing the rules, creating winning plans, becoming proficient with card management, & paying close attention to how opponents act.NEXT:Effective hand management is another crucial tactic. In order to maintain flexibility, players should try to hold onto cards that can be used in a variety of possible melds. If you are waiting for another 7 to finish a set or are working on a run with 6 and 8 of hearts, for instance, holding onto a 7 of hearts might be helpful. Players should also exercise caution when discarding high-point cards toward the end of the game because doing so can have a big effect on their final score in the event that an opponent goes out.
